Small
Black ants (Also known as the White
footed House ant, Black ant and small black ant)
These ants
are quiet commonly found nesting inside and outside, food void, cavity walls,
behind kitchen cupboards and electrical equipment. They do not sting and have
a slight odour when crushed. They eat meat and a variety of other foods but
prefer sweets. These ants are about 2-3.5mm long and mainly black in colour. Log on to
