Chlorpyrifos (Dursban) Chlorpyrifos is an
organophosphate. It is registered to treat a number of pests in Stewarts Pest Control
stopped using Chlorpyifos in 1998. In 1998 all pest control operators using
this chemical were require to have blood tests annually; at the same time as
this was being introduced the chemical Premise arrived on the Australian
market. There are a lot of health concerns with Chlorpyifos in Chlorpyrifos stinks. You
can smell it three houses down from the house it has been used at. This smell
can be most discomforting for yourself, your neighbours and our operators.
The smell can linger on for a considerable amount of time and is especially
noticeable in wooden floor houses. If you want to know more
information on Chlorpyrifos then I recommend going on the internet and
researching the chemical before having it applied at your property. |
